That said, this traditional deck is NO LONGER COPYRIGHTED so we offer budget-friendly copies of this deck for divination, learning, and crafts. These are very good cards and are the same ones I use for classes at WitchAcademy.org and for in-person tarot readings. They are very slightly thinner than those you would get from U.S. Games Systems, Inc., which may be easier to shuffle. They also have less of a plastic coating than most publishers offer, which I find gives them a more vintage and authentic feel, and is also better for epoxy and mixed-media art projects.

The Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot Deck is a faithful reproduction of the original deck created by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909 under the direction of Arthur E. Waite. The deck includes two additional non-tarot cards that depict some of Smith's other work.

This is a great tarot deck for newcomers and seasoned professionals.

Cards measure 4.06 inches by 2.36 inches (10.3 cm x 6 cm) making this deck the perfect size for handling. Larger than a poker-type playing card deck, and slightly smaller than a standard tarot deck.
