Join us in embracing the transformative power of the Eclipse, as we delve into its mystical energy to ignite renewal within ourselves. This event will include meditations, workshops, and classes with Friday Gladheart and other Witches.
The total solar eclipse takes place in a thin band across the southeast United States. This band is known as the path of totality. Wind ‘n’ Wood (said as you would rock ‘n’ roll) is an organic teaching garden and sanctuary for Witches, Pagans, Earth-centered spiritualists, and other wildlife. It is located in the center of the path of totality and it is the home of Witch Academy and Practical Witch.
Vending is free to everyone who attends, so you can offer any crafts or other products for sale to other campers. If you have used books (especially witchcraft, tarot, herb, or related subjects) or tarot decks, bring them along to sell or trade!

There are four types of tickets available: Free $0, Extended $65, Overnight $35, and Day Pass $25. Review these options below, then fill out the form at the bottom of the page to reserve your tickets.
Your campsite can have up to five people (eclipse glasses are provided for all VIP campers). No one under 18 years of age is allowed. Pets are allowed on leashes. Free Tickets
If you would like to be a Gate Greeter on April 6th or April 10th, your admission and campsite reservation is free. You will be expected to greet people at the gate, provide guests with their welcome packets, turn away the muggles, and answer guest questions. This is a volunteer position and is not paid other than the free registration, eclipse glasses, etc. If you’d like to be a Gate Greeter for one or both of the two available days, send in your reservation here.
VIP Tickets
VIP Tickets must be paid for in advance. Fill out the form below and then head on over to the Practical Witch shop page so you can use your credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc. If you need any other payment methods, just contact Friday at 501-651-0030.
VIP Tickets – Extended Stay $65
Reserve your campsite and stay as long as you like from April 4th to April 14th. While you are in the area you might enjoy digging for crystals, hiking the trails in the forest, or hanging out by nearby Ouachita Lake. Free vending for all campsites!
VIP Tickets – One Night $35
Reserve your campsite and stay overnight! Come early and enjoy a full day of activities, sleep under the stars, and enjoy another day mingling with like-minded people before heading home. Free vending for all campsites!

Would you just like to shop and enjoy the eclipse in the center of the path of totality? Grab a day pass and enjoy a safe space to experience the eclipse!

Upon arriving at the campground, everyone in your party will be required to provide ID and sign a paper copy of the form below. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

I, _____________ , at _____________ (NAME) (ADDRESS) (INPUT BELOW) (hereinafter referred to as Releasor) hereby assume all risks of participating in any and all activities being conducted by Friday Gladheart, Witch Academy, Practical Witch LLC, and Audrey Minahan (herein after Releasees) at 35 Wind n Wood TRL, Story Arkansas in Montgomery County. Camping Dates: April 4th-14th, 2024 Event: 2024 Solar Eclipse In consideration of permitting me to camp on the above-described property and participate in the activities being conducted surrounding the Solar Eclipse of April 8th, 2024 and other days I am in attendance between April 4th to April 14th, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, personal representatives, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE Releasees, their officers, directors, members, employees and agents, collectively releasees from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the releasees, for personal injury, death or disability, property damage, theft or actions of any kind which may occur at the property or while participating in the event.
B) I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND AGREE NOT TO SUE Releasees, their officers, directors, members, employees, and agents, collectively releasees from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity and event, whether caused by the releasees or a third party. I acknowledge that releasees are not responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failure to act of any party or entity conducting or participating in the event.
This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY.

Meet Your Host
Friday Gladheart came out of the broom closet in the late 1980s, blending her tarot readings with artisanal herbal creations at local markets. In 1996, she founded Witch Academy, renowned as the oldest and most esteemed online academy for Witchcraft, tarot, and magical herbalism. Soon after, the Practical Witch’s Almanac made its debut.
Balancing her roles in teaching and writing, Friday is currently in the process of cultivating an organic teaching garden—a sanctuary where knowledge and nature intertwine.
