Premium incense for all-purpose use: spells, rituals, holidays, study, meditation, blessing, raising energy. Wondering what incense sample you received with your last order? This is it! Environmentally friendly and economical bulk share pack.
You can find this incense in other places but beware of imposters. This is the original Nag Champa we import directly from the maker in India. As one of the only pre-made incenses offered at PracticalWitch.com, we keep it in stock because it is such a fine daily treat. We buy in bulk and count out exactly 20 sticks for you, seal in it a thick, re-usable zip bag, and wrap it in a colorful organza bag. The outer organza bag makes a nice spell or mojo bag for later use. This saves you money and saves the environment by significantly reducing packaging waste. Normally you'll find this in 15-gram boxes, which varies between 13 and 16 sticks. Note we offer 20 sticks at almost half the price you'll find elsewhere.
The fragrance is difficult to describe but is based on a combination of sandalwood and champaca (plumeria, ailanthus, champak, magnolia). This is the most popular incense in the world for a good reason. It is very energizing and has high spiritual vibrations. The scent is warm, floral, woodsy, and exotic. It is used as an offering, air freshener, magical energy booster, and for study, meditation, yoga, spells, and rituals. When people think of incense, this is the fragrance that comes to mind.
"I love the fragrance both before it is burned and during, so I arrange the sticks in a narrow flower vase on my altar. The scent permeates the room better than potpourri and it is easy to grab one to light during rituals without fumbling with a package." ~Friday Gladheart
This is a potent incense, and often you can tip the lit stick over into your cauldron filled with sand to extinguish it. Re-light it the next time you need a boost of energy or fragrance. Each stick burns for a total of about 45 minutes.
